As a member, you do not have to pay for medically necessary covered services you get from a Delaware Medicaid provider.

Remember to ask your health care provider:

• Are you an AmeriHealth Caritas Delaware provider?
• Does this service need prior authorization?

These questions can save you from getting a bill.

Other services

There are other services and community supports that may be available through the county or department of public health programs in your area. AmeriHealth Caritas Delaware can help you get those services. We also can help find out any costs that may apply to you. We can help you find possible ways of covering those costs.

AmeriHealth Caritas Delaware staff works with other agencies, such as your primary care provider (PCP) and other state organizations and agencies, to help coordinate your treatment and support.
