NEXT Distro

This online and mail-based harm reduction service is designed to reduce opioid overdose death, prevent injection-related disease transmission, and improve the lives of people who use drugs.

Narcan

If you are a person who uses opiates or if you are around people who use opiates, please consider learning how to respond to an opioid overdose and carrying naloxone (intranasal brand name: Narcan)

Naloxone is a medication designed to reverse an opioid overdose. Opioids slow down the activity of the central nervous system. This can cause slowed or stopped breathing which may lead to death. Naloxone allows the person who is experiencing an opioid overdose to begin breathing normally.

Fentanyl Test Strips

Fentanyl is a silent killer that is being mixed into other drugs. It is so common that it is now the leading cause of overdose deaths in Delaware, according to My Healthy Community.

Fentanyl test strips are an accurate, low-cost, and relatively easy method of testing drugs for the presence of fentanyl and its analogs.
